The University Presidency, the Deanship of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the Medical Director of Al-Riyada University Hospital received the Continuing Medical Education Committee of the Yemeni Medical Council, headed by:
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al-Mansoub – Member of the Supreme Medical Council and Head of the Committee for Continuing Medical Education and Professional Training,
Prof. Dr. Mona Anwar Qutb, Member of the Medical Council and Continuing Professional Training,
and Prof. Dr. Mazen Abdullah Karama, Member of the Medical Council and Continuing Professional Training.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the medical departments at the faculty (Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Medical Laboratories) to discuss ways to enhance continuing medical education at the university. During the meeting, the University President affirmed that the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences has begun implementing a package of courses and training programs for students across various specialties, noting the successful completion of a number of training courses in the Department of Dentistry and the Internship Program, with the aim of improving the competence of the university’s graduates.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee handed over the relevant drafts and forms to the University Presidency. The university expressed its full readiness for joint cooperation in this field, and conveyed its great pleasure and welcome for the visit of this distinguished committee, which aims to elevate the quality of medical education.
