Mission The Department of Islamic Studies seeks to prepare competent professionals in Sharia sciences and Islamic thought who are capable of conducting research, analysis, and constructive criticism through an open and flexible educational environment that utilizes the latest educational technologies and adheres to quality standards. This contributes to enabling learners to pursue their university education, meet labor market requirements, and serve community issues with a spirit of moderation and balance. Objectives 1- Prepare competent and experienced graduates qualified to teach Islamic Education and provide students with the necessary Islamic and Sharia sciences to fulfill this role. 2- Enable students to distinguish between truth and falsehood in light of the Qur’an and Sunnah, in accordance with the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama‘ah. 3- Promote adherence to Islamic values and virtuous morals and contribute to their dissemination within the community. 4- Develop students’ scientific research skills in the fields of Islamic Studies and encourage them to contribute to scholarly and academic output. 5- Prepare students to pursue postgraduate studies in Sharia-related disciplines. 6- Provide distinguished educational services through the effective application of technologies used in distance education. 7- Provide higher education opportunities for individuals whose circumstances have prevented them from continuing their education. 8- Meet the needs of the community and labor market by academically and professionally qualifying competent human resources. 9- Establish communication and collaboration channels with civil society organizations to provide distinguished educational services.
