It aims to keep pace with contemporary developments in the accounting and auditing professions, meet the needs of the labor market, and contribute to preparing qualified professionals who support development requirements within an interactive educational environment that utilizes modern technologies, as well as computer-based accounting software and practical applications. Objectives 1- Prepare qualified graduates with strong scientific and professional competencies in accounting and auditing, capable of meeting the needs of the local and regional labor markets. 2- Provide an interactive and stimulating electronic accounting learning environment that utilizes modern technologies in distance education. 3- Encourage applied accounting research and provide accounting and financial consultancy services that contribute to serving the community and economic institutions. 4- Adhere to quality standards and academic accreditation requirements across all educational and administrative activities of the Department. 5- Establish effective partnerships with corresponding departments at local and international universities, as well as professional institutions in the field of accounting. 6- Develop students’ skills in teamwork, critical and objective thinking, and adherence to professional ethical standards in the field of accounting. 7- Enhance digital scholarly output in accounting by encouraging digital publication and applied projects.
