Al-Reyada University Business Administration Students Explore Quality Control Mechanisms at the Yemen Standardization, Metrology, and Quality Control Organization (YSMO)
In a step aimed at bridging the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice, the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Al-Reyada University, organized a scientific field visit to the Yemen Standardization, Metrology, and Quality Control Organization (YSMO). The visit included 40 male and female students from the third and fourth levels.
Under the supervision of Dr. Khalda Khalid Abdul Latif Al-Ban, Head of the Business Administration Department, and accompanied by Dr. Ikhlas Magharef, instructor of the Total Quality Management (TQM) course, the visit aimed to introduce students to the practical applications of quality standards, commodity control mechanisms, and the foundations of food safety.
A Warm Reception and Strategic Cooperation
The delegation was warmly received by Eng. Hadid Muthanna Al-Maas, the Executive Director General of YSMO, who expressed his pleasure in cooperating with academic institutions. He emphasized that such communication is vital for building a generation conscious of quality requirements and standards.

The Scientific Program
The visit included two comprehensive lectures:

The program concluded with a field tour of the various laboratories, where students observed firsthand how examinations are conducted according to the latest international standards and systems.
