Al-Riyada University launches admissions and registration for the first cohort in the Human Medicine program
The event, held in the university hall, was supervised by the President of Al-Riyada University, Prof. Dr. Nahla Saleh Al-Kaaki.
In her speech, the University President welcomed representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as representatives of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Aden, thanking them for attending the launch ceremony. She also welcomed the faculty members, students of Al-Riyada University, and doctors of Al-Riyada University Hospital.
She emphasized that the college will focus on preparing the first cohort of Human Medicine students academically and professionally, ensuring they represent the university well in the job market—especially after completing all required facilities and preparations in accordance with the standards for the Human Medicine program.
For his part, Abdulrahim Al-Zubaidi, representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stated that the ministry will support all colleges and universities, congratulating Al-Riyada University on launching admissions for the Human Medicine program.
He explained that academic programs and specializations in universities require specific conditions. For Human Medicine in particular, it is essential to have a hospital, laboratories, and other necessary facilities—conditions that Al-Riyada University has successfully fulfilled.
Al-Riyada University is considered one of the modern private universities, offering various departments needed in the labor market, supported by a distinguished academic staff. It also owns a university-affiliated hospital, which distinguishes it from other universities.
