Humanitarian Visit by Students of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Al-Riyada University to the Children's Oncology Center
As part of promoting the values of social responsibility and humanitarian work, and as a culmination of the Charity Food Event organized by university students during the activities of the Second Entrepreneurial Student Week, a group of male and female students from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Al-Riyada University, under the supervision of Dr. Fatimah Talib, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, paid a humanitarian visit to the Children's Oncology Center.
During the visit, the students spent meaningful and joyful moments with young patients, aiming to bring happiness to their hearts and ease their suffering.
The visit included presenting gifts and toys to the children, as well as sharing moments of joy and smiles in a humanitarian initiative that reflects the spirit of solidarity and compassion that the college strives to instill in its students.
The children, their families, and the center's administration expressed their appreciation and happiness for this kind gesture, praising the role of the college students in providing psychological and emotional support to children undergoing treatment.
The College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Al-Riyada University affirms that such community initiatives are part of its mission to prepare distinguished healthcare professionals whose role extends beyond academic and professional excellence to include humanitarian and social responsibility, based on the belief that healthcare is fundamentally a mission of compassion and giving.
We pray to Almighty God to grant all sick children a speedy recovery and to reward everyone who contributed to these humanitarian initiatives.
